Interfaces Built To
Guide, Convert & Hold Up.
We research, structure, and design product, web, and app interfaces that make the right action obvious — then hand off files clean enough for any dev team to build, or build them ourselves.
Every Layer Of The Interface
From a single landing page to a full multi-product design system — scoped to what actually moves the metric you're designing for.
Product & App UI Design
End-to-end screen design for web apps and mobile apps — component-driven, responsive, and built to a design system from the first screen, not retrofitted after the tenth.
UX Research & Strategy
Interviews, competitive teardown, and information architecture that tell us what to design before we design it.
Design Systems & Component Libraries
Tokens, components, and documentation that keep every new screen consistent without a Slack thread.
Website & Landing Page Design
Marketing pages designed around a single job to do — clear hierarchy, honest copy, and a CTA that isn't buried.
Prototyping & Usability Testing
Clickable prototypes can be tested with representative users before development, when research/testing is included in scope.
The Double Diamond Process
We diverge before we converge, twice: once to understand the problem, once to land on the solution. It's slower to start and faster to ship.
Discover
User interviews, analytics review, and competitive research to surface the real problem, not the assumed one.
Define
Findings distilled into a clear problem statement, user flows, and information architecture everyone agrees on.
Design
Multiple concepts explored in wireframe and UI, tested with real users before committing to one direction.
Deliver
Final UI, a documented component library, and dev-ready specs — or a straight handoff into our own build team.
Accessibility & Usability — By Default
A design that looks right and a design that works for everyone are two different jobs. We treat both as the baseline, not a stretch goal.
Accessibility-aware Contrast & Type
Color contrast, readable type, focus visibility and interaction targets are considered during design. Formal WCAG conformance should be scoped and verified when required.
Moderated Usability Testing
Task-based usability testing can surface friction before development, reducing the cost of changing interaction patterns later.
Structured Design Tokens
Color, spacing, and type defined as reusable tokens, not one-off values — so accessibility fixes apply everywhere at once.
Keyboard & Screen-Reader Flows
Tab order, focus states, and labeling designed alongside the visuals, not patched in during development.
Performance-Aware Design
Asset weight and layout complexity considered at design time, so the interface that ships is as fast as the one you approved.
Design QA Checklist
These checks can be included in the design scope and extended into implementation QA or an ongoing design retainer when required.
What You Get
Organized Figma Files
Clean layer naming, components, and auto-layout — yours outright, with no vendor lock-in to us.
Component Library & Tokens
A documented, reusable system so future screens stay consistent without redesigning from scratch.
Interactive Prototype
A clickable prototype for stakeholder sign-off and usability testing before development starts.
Usability Test Report
Findings tied to specific design decisions — not a generic summary of what users said.
Dev-Ready Specs
Spacing, states, and breakpoints documented so any development team can build it without guessing.
Post-Launch Design Support
Optional post-launch design QA and support for new features, campaigns and design-system maintenance.
Design That Connects To Build & Security
UI/UX work is often one part of a larger product lifecycle. Grey Shield can connect design with development and security services when the project needs it.
Frequently Asked
How long does a UI/UX design project take?
Timelines depend on the number of screens, research depth, design-system requirements, stakeholder feedback and whether usability testing is included. Grey Shield should confirm the delivery plan after scope is understood.
What's the difference between UI and UX design?
UX is the structure and flow — research, information architecture, and how someone moves through the product. UI is the visual layer built on top of it — typography, color, and components. We handle both together so they don't fight each other later.
Do you also build what you design, or just design it?
Either. We hand off production-ready Figma files and specs to your development team, or carry the design straight into development ourselves, since we also build web and mobile apps in-house.
Do you do user research and usability testing?
Yes. Discovery interviews, competitive analysis, and moderated usability testing sessions before and after design, with a written findings report tied to specific design decisions.
Do you offer ongoing design support after launch?
Post-launch design QA and ongoing support can be included when required. The support window, response expectations and retainer scope should be agreed in the project proposal.
